Description
This vintage style print shows the Elizabeth Tower and the Palace of Westminster rising above Westminster Bridge and the River Thames in London. A glowing cast iron street lamp stands in the foreground beneath branches of red and golden autumn leaves, while the water below catches warm reflections of the evening sky.
The artwork is painted in a loose, textured impasto style with bold blues, ambers, greens and reds on a warm cream background. A small Union Jack sits beside the bold red WESTMINSTER lettering, with LONDON set above it, giving the piece the look of a classic British travel poster. It suits lovers of vintage prints, vintage wall art, vintage posters and vintage London landmarks.
A lovely choice for a living room, hallway, study or gallery wall, this physical printed poster brings the character of Big Ben and the Thames to your home in rich colour. It makes a thoughtful gift for anyone who loves London, British history or retro travel art.
