Description
This vintage Westminster poster shows the Palace of Westminster rising beside the River Thames in London, England. Elizabeth Tower and the Houses of Parliament glow in warm golden stone beneath a bright blue sky with soft white clouds, while a Union Jack flies from the Victoria Tower.
In the foreground, working barges, a steam tug and a small rowing boat drift across the sparkling blue water, with workers poled along in the golden light. The bold black serif lettering and cream border give it the look of classic mid century British travel posters, making it a lovely vintage print for anyone who loves London landmarks.
A strong choice for vintage wall art in a living room, hallway, study or office, and a thoughtful gift for fans of vintage posters, Big Ben, England travel and British history. It pairs well with other vintage England prints in a gallery wall.
