Description
This vintage Westminster London poster shows a classic red telephone box in the foreground beneath a branch of bright orange autumn leaves, with the Elizabeth Tower and the Houses of Parliament rising behind it. A black lamp post, a stone bridge railing and fallen leaves on the pavement complete the scene, all set against a warm cream background with soft mustard yellow blocks of colour.
Drawn in a bold ink line and flat colour style, this vintage England print has the look of a retro travel poster, with hand lettered Westminster across the top. The palette of tomato red, burnt orange, mustard, leaf green and black gives it plenty of character. It works well as vintage wall art for a living room, hallway, study or kitchen, and suits anyone who loves vintage prints, vintage posters and vintage London art.
A charming vintage British poster for lovers of Big Ben, red phone boxes and autumn in the city, it makes a lovely London souvenir print or a thoughtful gift for Anglophiles and anyone with a connection to the capital.
