Description
This vintage London poster shows the Elizabeth Tower and the Palace of Westminster rising above a rain-wet street, painted in a soft watercolour style. A bright red double-decker bus takes centre stage, with a classic black taxi and a small red car behind it, while pedestrians walk beside black iron lamp posts on the pavement.
Autumn trees in warm orange and amber frame the left side of the scene, set against a glowing cloudy sky of blue, cream and soft pink. The wet road reflects the colours of the bus and the leaves, giving the artwork a calm, nostalgic mood. The title LONDON sits in bold purple lettering along the bottom edge, with a small caption naming Westminster, all on a warm cream paper tone.
If you love vintage prints, vintage wall art and vintage posters, this travel poster style design suits a living room, hallway, office or gallery wall. It is a lovely choice for fans of vintage England, classic British scenes, Big Ben and the iconic London red bus.
