Description
This vintage London poster celebrates The Shard and Southwark in a bold comic panel layout. The tall lilac grey Shard rises over a yellow dotted sky, surrounded by panels showing the London Eye, the dome of St Paul's Cathedral and the Gherkin, with a Union Jack flag and chunky pink lettering on red.
The bottom panel shows a bright Thames riverside scene with a bridge, a river boat, green trees and the city skyline beneath a blue sky. The retro hand drawn style, flat colour and thick outlines give it a playful pop art feel that suits vintage prints, vintage wall art and vintage posters of British cities.
A great fit for fans of vintage England and vintage London travel art, this colourful skyline poster works well in a living room, hallway, office or gallery wall, and makes a lovely London souvenir or housewarming gift.
