Description
This vintage Big Ben London poster shows Elizabeth Tower in a bold mid century graphic style, with its golden clock tower, dark pointed roof and large clock face set against a cream background. The words Big Ben 1963 appear across the top in classic black lettering, giving the design a charming retro travel look.
Around the tower you can see red double decker buses, the Houses of Parliament, an arched bridge, the River Thames, a green park with trees and colourful city buildings in yellow, red and purple. Small figures in hats and coats walk the streets and sit on the bus, adding warmth and movement to the scene.
A flat colour palette of blue, orange, mustard and green gives this London print a lively vintage feel. It suits vintage prints and vintage wall art collections, and works well as vintage posters for a hallway, living room or gallery wall, especially for fans of vintage London, vintage England and retro travel style.
