Description
This vintage wartime diary poster shows two black hardback diaries with worn gold edges, brown elastic bands and a red DIARY label above a small Union Jack. The bold headline reads A wartime diary can tell too much, Keep it close, with a smaller line urging you to write with care and store it securely.
The design uses a warm cream background, heavy black typography and a handwritten style slogan at the bottom that says Think before you write. The layout has the look of a mid century public information notice, making this a striking piece of vintage wall art for lovers of British history, wartime ephemera and retro graphic design.
A good fit for a study, hallway, home office, writing nook or gallery wall, this vintage print suits anyone who enjoys vintage posters with a strong message. Its clear subject and confident typography also make it a thoughtful choice for diary keepers, history fans and collectors of vintage wartime prints.
