Description
This vintage steam engine print poster shows a front view of a locomotive in dark sepia tones against a bold red background. The circular boiler front with its riveted rim, the tall smokestack, the round headlamp and the large wheels are drawn in fine engraved detail, with the cowcatcher bars sweeping down to the base. The words Steam Engine and McIntosh 1891 appear along the bottom in strong black lettering.
The contrast between the red field and the aged sepia illustration gives this vintage poster a retro railway look that suits a study, living room, hallway or workshop. It works well as vintage wall art for train lovers, railway collectors and anyone who enjoys vintage prints with an industrial engineering feel.
This is a physical printed poster, ready to frame and display. A vintage locomotive print like this adds character to a gallery wall or stands on its own as a statement piece for vintage train poster fans.
