Description
This vintage London Tube poster features a bold red ring crossed by a dark blue bar, with white lettering reading Ride the Tube. Huge black block letters spell out TUBE beneath it, with a yellow strapline reading Round the City, all set against a weathered cream background.
The design has a layered, torn street poster look, with scuffed paper, ripped patches of red, blue, yellow and black, and a faded Union Jack peeking through at the corners. Small black and blue labels carry playful lines such as Red Ring, Blue Bar, City Icon, Next Stop Anywhere and Off We Go. Thin transit map lines with station dots run along the edges.
If you are searching for vintage prints, vintage wall art, vintage posters or vintage London posters, this retro Underground themed piece suits a living room, hallway, office or gallery wall. It is a lively choice for anyone who loves London, the Tube and classic British city style.
