Description
This vintage Japanese poster shows a smiling man in a golden Grecian style tunic and laced sandals carrying a woman across his arms. Her gold dress and long teal scarf trail behind them, and bright confetti dots drift through a bold red background. Large cream katakana lettering sits across the top, with smaller Japanese text reading a celebration of colour beside the figures.
The weathered paper texture, limited colour palette and dramatic diagonal bands of teal and black give it the look of a mid century cinema poster. It suits anyone searching for vintage prints, vintage wall art and vintage posters with a retro Japanese film feel, and it adds a vivid focal point to a gallery wall, living room, studio or hallway.
This is a physical printed poster, made to be framed and displayed. The strong red, gold and teal tones pair well with dark wood frames and neutral walls.
