Description
A striking vintage aircraft design showing a polished silver de Havilland Comet jetliner banking through the sky, seen from slightly below with its rounded nose, cockpit windows, swept wings and engine intakes set close to the wing roots. The deep navy blue at the top fades into a bright, streaked sky blue, with the name de Havilland Comet set in gold and white lettering across the top.
This piece suits anyone searching for vintage prints, vintage wall art or vintage posters with an aviation theme. The airbrushed, mid-century look and the glossy metallic finish of the fuselage make it a strong focal point for a study, hallway, living room, home office or hangar-style space, and a fine gift for pilots, plane spotters and fans of early jet age history.
The cool blue and silver palette sits well with both classic and modern interiors, and the bold typography keeps the composition clean and easy to read from across the room. A great choice for vintage airline poster collectors and lovers of retro travel and aeroplane art.
