Description
This vintage style poster shows a Czech magazine cover in a bold Constructivist manner, with the title Plan 1929 set in heavy crimson capitals across a dark teal panel. Above it sits a small cover illustration with an orange red circle and angular black bars, while red roots spread down from it across the panel and pale drips fall towards the lettering.
The Czech text reads Revue pro literaturu, umeni a vedu, with an ornate round badge numbered 1 and the words Cislo 1, Praha at the foot. The palette of raspberry red, deep teal and soft blush pink gives it a striking, graphic look that suits fans of vintage prints and vintage wall art.
A good fit for lovers of vintage posters, Czech design, Prague history, avant garde typography and interwar modernist graphics. It would sit well in a studio, study, library or gallery wall, and adds a dramatic touch of vintage Czech poster art to any room.
