Description
This vintage style Japanese black cat poster shows a huge close up of a black cat with round yellow eyes, fine cream whiskers and a small grey nose, all rendered in a bold halftone dot pattern on a warm cream background. Red lettering reads Night Walk, Kuro Neko and 1977, with Japanese characters running down the centre of the forehead and a vertical panel reading Midnight Stroll.
At the bottom a winding grey road passes green palm trees and cacti, giving the design a quirky retro travel feel. The limited palette of black, red, yellow, green and cream gives it the look of a vintage Japanese print from the seventies, ideal for fans of vintage prints, vintage wall art and vintage posters.
This printed poster suits a gallery wall, living room, bedroom, office or any space that needs a striking cat poster. It is a thoughtful gift for cat lovers and anyone who enjoys retro Japanese graphic design, vintage cat art and bold Japanese typography.
