Vintage 1948 Ski Print, Skieuses En Marche Poster

This striking vintage ski poster dates from 1948 and carries the title Skieuses En Marche, meaning Skiers on the March, with the subtitle Neige Soleil, Snow and Sun. Published under the Sports d'Hiver banner, it depicts four confident, smiling women striding forward through a snowy mountain pass, each carrying orange wooden skis over their shoulders. The bold navy and orange colour palette against a pale blue sky gives the artwork an instantly recognisable mid-century French Alpine character.

The illustration style is classic retro travel poster art, with strong graphic lines, vivid flat colours, and a celebratory mood that captures the golden age of European winter sports. The typography is large, bold, and deeply characteristic of late 1940s French graphic design, making this a highly decorative piece for any ski enthusiast or fan of vintage travel art.

This is a physical printed wall art poster, professionally reproduced and shipped directly to you. It suits a ski chalet, living room, hallway, or home bar, and makes a thoughtful gift for lovers of winter sports, retro French style, or mid-century illustration.
