Description
This vintage Westminster poster shows the Elizabeth Tower and the Houses of Parliament, with a busy London street scene in the foreground. Crowds of pedestrians in 1920s hats and coats hurry across the road, drawn from a playful bird's eye angle, while red open top double decker buses carry passengers past the iron railings and ornate street lamps. The warm stone clock tower stands out against a soft cream sky.
Bold lettering reads The Heart of Westminster, set in a black and white decorative border along the bottom edge. The flat colours, clean outlines and cheerful detail make it a charming vintage London print for lovers of travel posters, retro transport art and classic British illustration.
A great choice for anyone searching for vintage prints, vintage wall art, vintage posters or vintage London posters, and it suits a hallway, living room, study or gallery wall in a traditional or eclectic home.
