Description
This vintage Velosolex poster shows a black motorised bicycle in a clean side view, with wire-spoked wheels, a slim step-through frame and a distinctive engine mounted above the front wheel. A round headlamp, high swept chrome handlebars, a sprung leather saddle and a rear rack add to the classic details. The bold blue and cream lettering across the top reads Velosolex.
Sweeping bands of yellow, soft green and pink curve behind the bike on a warm cream background, giving the design a cheerful retro feel. It suits fans of vintage cycling posters, French moped history and mid century transport design, and works well as vintage wall art for a hallway, workshop, garage, study or living room.
This physical vintage print is a lovely choice for anyone who enjoys vintage posters, classic bicycles and retro motoring art. The simple composition and pastel colours make it easy to pair with other vintage prints in a gallery wall.
