Description
This vintage tulip poster shows three pink and red variegated tulips painted in a soft botanical style. Two blooms are fully open, revealing dark stamens and pale petal passages, while a narrower bud stands upright beside them. Long green leaves and sturdy stems fill the lower half of the composition, and a small orange and black butterfly rests on a leaf at the lower left.
The warm cream background has an aged paper feel, with a loose brown wash behind the flowers and bold red Cyrillic lettering across the top reading ТЮЛЬПАНЫ, along with small lines of text beneath it. The look is reminiscent of Soviet era seed packet and botanical chart design, making this a charming choice for lovers of vintage prints, vintage wall art and vintage posters.
The painterly brushwork and rich spring colours suit a kitchen, hallway, living room or cottage style gallery wall. It pairs well with other vintage floral posters, retro botanical prints and flower illustration wall art, and makes a thoughtful gift for gardeners and flower lovers.
