Description
This vintage Sutton Coldfield poster shows an outdoor lido scene in a retro travel poster style. Swimmers in bathing caps paddle across a bright blue pool, with a low red-roofed building on one side and a wooden diving tower and slide on the other. A backdrop of rounded green trees and soft cream clouds frames the scene, with the town name set in bold black capitals across the top.
The warm cream paper tone, textured finish and muted blue, green and red palette give this vintage print a nostalgic mid century feel. It suits anyone searching for vintage wall art, vintage posters and vintage England prints, and works well in a living room, hallway, bathroom or bedroom, or as a gift for someone who loves the West Midlands and outdoor swimming.
If you enjoy vintage lido posters, retro swimming pool art and classic British travel poster style, this Sutton Coldfield print brings a relaxed summer feel to your walls all year round.
