Description
A vintage Soviet style propaganda poster showing a determined woman in a red headscarf and dark work coat, one hand raised in a firm gesture. Below her, a hand holds out a white card marked with a red raised fist inside the women's symbol, while a crowd of women stand in rows behind red flags. The bold red headline reads MARSH in Cyrillic lettering across a warm cream background.
This vintage poster suits anyone who loves vintage prints, vintage wall art and vintage posters with a strong graphic voice. The limited palette of red, cream and charcoal, the hand painted look of the faces and the dramatic close crop give it the feel of mid century Soviet propaganda poster art. It is an eye catching choice for a feminist gallery wall, a study, a hallway or an office.
The composition centres on solidarity and collective action, with the women's liberation symbol set against the classic constructivist inspired colour scheme. It works well with other vintage political posters, Russian poster art and retro feminist prints for a bold, characterful display.
