Description
This vintage style shower frog print shows an upright green frog with a pale pink belly and long legs standing beneath an ochre showerhead. Streaks of falling water run down in soft white and pale blue, and a puddle of turquoise gathers around its orange toed feet. The brushwork looks like thick gouache on cream paper, with visible strokes that give the whole scene a tactile, hand painted feel.
Behind the frog sits a wall of chunky blue bathroom tiles in several shades of cobalt and sky blue, each square painted loosely with white gaps between them. Hand lettered black text reads Shower Frog in the top corner, and a small line at the bottom reads Blue Tile, Warm Water. The palette of blue, green, pink and ochre is cheerful and bold.
This quirky frog poster suits a bathroom, powder room, laundry room or any space that needs a playful touch. It works well as vintage wall art, a funny animal print for a gallery wall, or a retro style vintage bathroom poster for fans of frog art and vintage prints.
