Description
This vintage Richmond Park print shows a sunlit stretch of London parkland, with mature oak trees casting dappled shade over open green lawns. A pale curving path winds through the grass towards the distance, where a pair of deer graze beneath a soft blue sky with white clouds. The palette of leafy greens, warm creams and a bold brick red title gives it the look of classic vintage England posters.
The landscape is painted in a gentle, illustrative style with rich detail in the bark and foliage, and a clean cream border carrying the words London Parkland and Richmond Park. It suits anyone who loves vintage prints, vintage wall art and vintage posters of the English countryside, as well as fans of British parks, woodland scenes and nature art.
A fine choice for a living room, hallway, study or bedroom, and a thoughtful gift for those who know southwest London, Surrey and the Thames. The calm green scene pairs well with traditional, cottage and modern interiors alike.
