Description
This vintage style poster shows Pique, the chilli pepper mascot of Mexico 1986, standing proudly with his hands on his hips beside a black and white football. He wears a huge yellow sombrero with a red rim, a red V neck shirt, white shorts and black boots with yellow stripes, topped off with a bold black moustache and a cheeky smile.
Behind him sit two striped globe motifs in black and white, giving the design a classic retro graphic feel. The words PIQUE 1986 run across the bottom in a green outlined lettering style, set against a clean white background. The bright green, yellow and red palette makes this a cheerful piece for anyone who loves vintage football posters and vintage wall art.
A fun choice for a football fan's bedroom, games room, man cave, office or nursery, and a great gift for lovers of vintage prints, retro World Cup memorabilia and vintage football mascots. It pairs nicely with other vintage soccer posters in a gallery wall, and the simple white background makes it easy to frame.
