Description
This vintage print poster shows a busy Paddington platform in 1936, with travellers in hats and overcoats carrying suitcases beside an olive green Great Western Railway carriage. A uniformed railway guard leans from an open carriage door while clouds of steam drift above the roofs, and a second train waits on the platform beyond.
The bold lettering reads 1936 Paddington GWR, set against sweeping stripes of burnt orange and cream. The flat colour, strong diagonal lines and aged paper texture give it the look of classic British railway travel art, making it a striking choice for anyone who loves vintage prints, vintage wall art and vintage posters.
It suits a hallway, study, living room or gallery wall, and will appeal to railway enthusiasts, train collectors and lovers of vintage travel posters and retro transport art. Printed as a physical poster for framing and display.
