Description
This vintage orange poppy poster is a botanical study laid out like a classic natural history chart. Large open poppies with vivid orange petals and dark centres sit beside unopened poppy buds, slender green stems and finely cut foliage, all set on a warm cream parchment background with a thin border and the heading A Botanical Study of Orange Poppies.
Smaller clusters of white blossoms and soft pink spring blossoms are scattered between the poppies, each one labelled in neat serif lettering. The detailed illustration style gives the piece the look of an old botanical plate, making it a lovely choice for lovers of vintage prints, vintage wall art and vintage posters with a cottage garden feel.
The warm orange, sage green and cream palette suits kitchens, living rooms, hallways and bedrooms, and works well in a gallery wall with other vintage botanical posters, flower prints and nature inspired wall art.
