Description
This vintage Lowenbrau Festbier print shows a golden lion with a brown mane sitting on a wooden beer barrel, wearing a small green hat and a pretzel medal. One paw raises a foaming stein of lager while a red balloon floats beside its tail. The text Munchen and Oktoberfest Bier sits beneath the bold red headline.
The design is set against a black background with cream silhouettes of hops, wheat ears, beer bottles, tulip glasses, stars and a barrel with falling drops. The grainy, screen printed look and limited palette of red, mustard and cream give it the feel of a classic European brewery advert, ideal for anyone searching for vintage beer posters and vintage wall art.
This vintage poster suits a home bar, kitchen, pub style man cave or games room, and works well as a gift for beer lovers who enjoy German brewing heritage, Bavarian imagery and vintage prints with plenty of character.
