Description
This vintage London Underground print poster shows a red Piccadilly Line train running along the riverside tracks with Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament rising behind it. The scene is set in grainy black and white, with the red carriage and roundel logo picking out the colour against the cloudy sky. An ornate lamp post and an Underground sign frame the tunnel entrance on the right.
A bold red panel at the bottom carries the roundel and the line through the city for every journey, giving the design a classic mid century transport poster feel. It suits anyone searching for vintage prints, vintage wall art, vintage posters and vintage travel posters of London.
The weathered paper texture and strong graphic layout make this London skyline print a striking centrepiece for a hallway, living room, study or gallery wall. A great choice for fans of British railway history, retro transport design and the city of London.
