Description
This vintage London poster shows a bright red telephone box and an ornate black lamppost on the Thames embankment, with Westminster Bridge, the Palace of Westminster and Elizabeth Tower rising beyond the river. A pleasure boat crosses the sparkling water, a red double decker bus travels over the bridge, and a Union flag flies above the Gothic rooftops. The soft watercolour style, warm cream border and bold purple LONDON lettering give it a classic travel poster feel.
A caption below the scene reads Westminster Bridge, the River Thames, the Palace of Westminster and Elizabeth Tower. Pale blue skies, golden stone and leafy green branches in the corner create a calm, nostalgic mood that suits lovers of vintage prints, vintage wall art and vintage posters of England.
This printed poster would suit a living room, hallway, study or gallery wall, and works well for anyone who loves vintage London, Big Ben views, British landmarks and retro city travel art.
