Description
This vintage Japanese style poster shows a strange blue clawed bird creature with a round black head, a single blue eye and a green pointed beak. A red flame shaped crest rises from its head against a bold red background, with yellow circles behind the figure and cream Japanese lettering across the top reading Aoime and Kaicho, meaning monster bird.
The flat colour blocks, rough ink texture and graphic layout give it the look of a retro Japanese movie poster or old advertising sign. It suits anyone searching for vintage prints, vintage wall art, vintage posters and vintage Japanese posters, especially fans of kaiju, yokai and quirky monster artwork.
A striking red, blue and yellow design that works well in a gallery wall, a games room, a studio, a bedroom or a living room, and brings a playful retro Japanese feel to any space.
