Description
Vintage oatmeal poster showing a woman in a blue-striped shirt and a blue hair bow, eating a spoonful of porridge while holding a corded telephone. Below her sits a decorated bowl of hot oatmeal topped with sliced banana and a dusting of cinnamon, with bold serif lettering reading Hot Oatmeal across the top.
The slogan Good mornings begin with a spoon sits beside the figure, with the small line A warm start to the day above and A simple, satisfying breakfast below. A pale cream background, soft blues and warm oat tones give this vintage advert style a cosy, nostalgic feel.
This vintage print suits a kitchen, breakfast nook, cafe corner or dining room. If you collect vintage posters and vintage wall art, or love retro food advertising and mid century breakfast imagery, it adds warmth and humour to a gallery wall.
