Description
This vintage railway poster shows a green steam locomotive from near track level, its huge black driving wheels with red counterweights and yellow coupling rods filling the right side of the frame. A line of carriages curves away along the track beside a lake, with a stone viaduct, wooded green hills and drifts of yellow wildflowers under a bright blue sky.
The bold lettering across the black panel at the bottom reads Journey, Flying Scotsman Express, A Great British Rail Experience and London & North Eastern Railway. Painted in a classic travel poster style with warm greens, golds and deep blacks, it makes a striking vintage print for lovers of steam trains, British railways and retro travel art.
A fine choice for vintage wall art in a study, hallway, living room or man cave, and a thoughtful gift for train enthusiasts and railway collectors. Printed on quality paper and shipped to you as a physical poster, ready to frame and display alongside other vintage posters and vintage travel prints.
