Description
This vintage Elizabeth Tower poster shows the famous London landmark in a bold retro typographic layout. A large photographic view of the tower looks upward at its two clock faces, ornate Gothic stonework and pointed pinnacle in warm golden stone tones. Beside it, blue woodcut style illustrations show the Palace of Westminster, a close view of the clock face and the river frontage with a lamp post.
Bold red lettering spells out Elizabeth Tower, with black type naming Palace of Westminster and London on a cream background with a worn, aged paper feel. It is a strong choice for anyone looking for vintage prints, vintage wall art and vintage posters with a London travel theme, and it suits a living room, hallway, study or gallery wall.
The mix of red, navy, black and gold against a soft cream ground gives a classic vintage England look. A Big Ben print like this makes a thoughtful gift for lovers of British history, architecture and London travel.
