Description
This vintage cycling poster shows a helmeted road racer bent low over a slim steel bicycle, caught in a hard sprint. The rider wears a light jersey, dark shorts, pale socks and dark cycling shoes, with thin wheels and drop handlebars wrapped in tape. Bold orange lettering reads SPRINT across the lower half, with the words 1940 ARS above and Swedish text below, all set against a rich cobalt blue background.
The retro look of this vintage print comes from its textured, slightly aged paper effect, its limited palette of blue, orange and cream, and its confident mid-century typography. It suits anyone searching for vintage wall art, vintage posters and vintage sports prints, and it works well in a garage, bike room, home office, study or hallway. A triangular emblem with a laurel wreath and the letter S sits in the bottom corner.
A good choice for road cycling fans, bike shop owners and lovers of Scandinavian vintage design, this printed poster adds energy and a sense of speed to any wall. The strong colour contrast makes it a lively focal point for a gallery wall or a single statement piece.
