Description
This vintage Canterbury poster shows a calm stretch of the River Stour in Kent, painted in soft watercolour tones. A stone arched bridge crosses the teal water, with narrow boats moored along the bank and golden light rippling across the surface. A tall Gothic church tower with pointed pinnacles rises above red-roofed buildings, leafy trees and old stone houses.
The warm cream border and bold purple Canterbury lettering give it the look of classic vintage travel prints. It suits anyone who loves vintage wall art, vintage England posters and historic cathedral city scenes, and it works well in a hallway, living room, study or gallery wall.
The small caption on the poster notes the old streets, stone bridges and church towers of this historic English city. A charming addition for fans of vintage Kent prints, English townscape art and nostalgic British travel poster style.
