Description
This vintage buttercup poster shows large golden-yellow blooms painted in loose watercolour with fine ink linework. Each flower has translucent, softly mottled petals and a centre of slender stamens tipped in amber, surrounded by slim green stems, narrow leaves and small unopened buds.
The background is a warm cream with faint blush pink washes, small paint splatters and delicate scribbled marks that give the piece a gentle, aged paper feel. The palette of buttercup yellow, sage green and soft pink works well in kitchens, bedrooms, hallways and cottage style living spaces.
If you are looking for vintage prints, vintage wall art, vintage posters or vintage floral posters, this botanical buttercup design brings a fresh, sunny and nostalgic look to a gallery wall or a single framed display.
