Description
This vintage style poster shows five sentries in red tunics and tall black bearskin hats standing beside the gilded railings of Buckingham Palace in London. The guards hold rifles at the ready, with white belts, brass buttons and dark trousers with a red stripe, set against warm cream, terracotta and soft teal tones. Bold lettering spells out Buckingham Palace in a classic travel poster style.
It works as vintage wall art for a hallway, living room, study or office, and suits anyone who loves vintage England prints, London travel posters and British heritage themes. The railings, stone gate pillar and paved pavement give the scene a strong sense of place, while the flat retro colour palette keeps it looking crisp and graphic.
If you collect vintage prints, vintage posters or vintage London wall art, this royal guard poster makes a distinctive centrepiece. It also pairs well with other vintage British travel prints for a themed gallery wall.
