Description
This vintage Bristol poster shows the Clifton Suspension Bridge high above the Avon Gorge, painted in a soft watercolour style. Moored boats and a small tug sit on the river in the foreground, while warm waterside houses and wooded cliffs rise beyond. The golden reflections on the water and the cream border give it a classic travel poster look.
The bold BRISTOL lettering and the short note about the bridge opening in 1864 sit along the lower edge. It suits anyone searching for vintage prints, vintage wall art and vintage posters with a British city theme, and works well in a living room, hallway or study.
The gentle blues, greens, ochres and terracotta tones make this vintage England print easy to pair with both traditional and modern interiors. It is a lovely way to celebrate Clifton, Bristol and the Avon Gorge on your wall.
