Description
This vintage Asahi beer print shows a brown beer bottle dressed as a running waiter, with black trousers, a white napkin over one arm and a tray holding two golden glasses of beer. From the neck of the bottle rises a great curling wave of amber beer and white foam, scattered with droplets, set against a bold red background. The headline Asahi sits across the top, with the playful line a wave of refreshment written in script near the bottom.
Below the bottle, a round Asahi beer coaster with a white star sits on the floor, adding a final retro touch. The flat colour blocks, graphic shapes and mid-century advertising style make this a striking piece of vintage wall art, and a fine choice for anyone who loves vintage posters and vintage prints with plenty of character.
This printed poster suits a home bar, pub, kitchen, dining room or games room, and works well with other vintage beer posters, retro drinks art and Japanese beer memorabilia. The warm reds, ambers and creams bring colour and a sense of fun to any wall.
