Description
This vintage style cycling poster shows a lone road cyclist leaning over drop handlebars as he rides head-on down a winding mountain road. He wears dark cycling clothes and a striped cap, drawn in a bold, textured black ink style that stands out against the soft colours behind him. The title Le Cycliste des Alpes appears in large cream lettering across the top, with Route Alpine written beneath it.
Behind the rider, green meadows scattered with yellow wildflowers, dark pine trees and grey rocks lead the eye towards snow-capped Alpine peaks and a small blue lake in the valley. Warm cream clouds drift across a muted sage green sky, giving the whole scene a calm, sunlit feel. The aged paper tone and limited colour palette suit fans of vintage prints, vintage wall art and vintage posters inspired by classic French cycling and mountain travel.
This physical printed poster is a great fit for a home office, living room, hallway, garage or cycling den. It will appeal to road cyclists, mountain lovers and anyone who enjoys retro sports art and vintage travel poster style.
